1. About Us
BollyFlixU started with a simple frustration. Every time something big happened — a film announcement, a viral moment, an exam result, a piece of showbiz news everyone was already whispering about — you had to open six different tabs to figure out what was actually going on. Half of it was outdated. The other half was written by someone who clearly had not read past the headline.
So we built the site we wanted to read.
BollyFlixU is an independent online magazine covering entertainment, news, human-interest stories, showbiz talk and education. We are not a wire service and we are not pretending to be one. We are a small editorial team that picks the stories worth your time and explains them properly — with context, with the background you need, and without dragging a 200-word update into a 2,000-word article just to fill space.
What you will find here
Entertainment. Film and drama coverage, casting news, release updates, streaming announcements, music, and the industry conversations behind them. We write about the work, the people making it, and why any of it matters.
News. The stories people are actually talking about, explained clearly. We focus on why something happened and what is likely to follow, not just the headline everyone already saw.
Stories. Longer, slower reads. Real people, unusual lives, things that stayed with us after we heard them. This is the section we are quietly proudest of.
Gossip & showbiz. Yes, we cover the lighter side too. But we label it for what it is. If something is a rumour, an unconfirmed report, or one outlet’s claim, we say so in plain words instead of dressing it up as confirmed fact.
Education. Study guides, exam and admission updates, career explainers, scholarship information, and practical advice for students trying to make decisions with incomplete information.
How we work
We check before we publish. When a story comes from another outlet, we credit them. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and mark the article as updated — we do not quietly delete a paragraph and hope nobody noticed.
We also keep a hard line between our editorial content and anything commercial. Advertising and sponsored content, when it appears, is disclosed. Nobody buys a favourable article on this site.
Who is behind it
BollyFlixU is published and edited by Rashid Awan, based in [Mansehra], Pakistan, with contributions from a small group of freelance writers.
We read every email that comes in. Story tips, corrections, complaints, and the occasional angry message about a take you disagreed with — all of it lands in the same inbox and all of it gets looked at.
