BollyFlixU respects intellectual property rights and expects users of this site to do the same. We respond promptly to valid copyright complaints.
Our position
BollyFlixU is a news and editorial website. We do not host, store, stream, or provide download links for copyrighted films, TV shows, music, software, or any other protected media.
Where we use images, posters, trailers, short excerpts, or promotional material, it is for the purpose of news reporting, criticism, review, and commentary. We believe this constitutes fair use under applicable copyright law. Credit is given to the original source wherever possible.
Filing a copyright complaint
If you own the copyright to material appearing on this site and believe it has been used without authorisation, send a written notice to [dmca@bollyflixu.com] including all of the following:
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on bollyflixu.com where the material appears — a link to the homepage is not sufficient.
- Proof of ownership, or authorisation to act on the owner’s behalf.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may delay our response.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge every valid notice within 48 hours and to remove or disable access to the disputed material within 72 hours of confirming the claim. If we believe the use was legitimate, we will explain our reasoning rather than simply ignoring you.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing your contact details, identification of the removed material and its previous location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal resulted from error or misidentification.
Repeat infringement
We reserve the right to remove content, terminate contributor access, and block users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Bad-faith claims
Please note that submitting a false or bad-faith copyright claim can carry legal consequences. If you are unsure whether the material is infringing, seek legal advice first.
